Jambon cru and blanc plus sausicon and a selection of cheese in Annacy.
I think you'll find it's a bit more complicated than that.

Griddled swordfish with salmoriglio, jacket wedges and mange tout. Very nice, if I might say so myself.

Always educational Spesh     https://www.theguardian.com/food/2019/jun/24/sicilian-lemon-sauce-salmoriglio-recipe-rachel-roddy

I was using a recipe out of Rick Stein's 'Mediterranean Escapes' book, where the swordfish was meant to be seasoned with peperoncino (chilli flakes) before griddling, but I put a pinch of chilli flakes in the salmoriglio so that they wouldn't singe, which made the sauce more of a mild form of chimichurri, but getting the same overall taste effect as the Stein recipe.

A very nice mixed grill in a restaurant in Freiburg. Washed down with a caraffe of local red. I think German reds are really underrated, wish they were easier to get hold of in the UK. Last nights meal however was rubbish, good reviews on Tripadvisor but definetly a tourist trap. The bakeries here are amazing by the way.

I think you'll find it's a bit more complicated than that.

Shabu-shabu. In Ofuna. Not my favourite food hereabouts. Last night's noodles with sea urchin sauce was amazing.

Fish and chips. Breaded mackerel goujons and chips, from the Lime Crab in New Quay (recommended by Basil) to be precise.
Extremely good, decent portions and not a bad price.

Last night, after a week of virtually no fruit and veg, the first corn-on-the-cob from our garden. Yummy.

Our home-grown sweetcorn have been a bit disappointing but the ENORMOUS loose, leaf-wrapped bargain cobs from Sainsbury's have been ACE.

SO much better than plastic sweetcorn!

No sweetcorn tonight (some stems might actually produce two cobs this year, a first), BLT's in instead, with the first of our "Big Daddy" tomatoes.

Back there for our last holiday meal. Sea bass and chips. I'm not sure I've ever had a better piece of battered fish.

Glad to be of service sir.
How far off did you dare wander with your buzzer?
We risked the first (nearest) bench on the harbour wall and it worked fine.
Admission.  I'm actually not that fussed about cake.

I just waited in the shop while MrsC went to find a table outside.

Do you think our 'funny' tomato is a Big Daddy?

Certain,y a beefsteak of some variety.  I can report that ours was delicious, with nary a pip. Perfect for sandwiches.

Just had some 48 month matured Gouda delivered.  I know what I am having tonight with a LBV port!

Cassoulet d'Oie courtesy of one of the La Belle Chaurienne cans I stocked up on our last French trip. It is made in Castelnaudary at least.

Assuming the slow cooker keeps doing its thing, shin beef in red wine - I haven't decided whether it will be served with yet, but probably green veg, and polenta of some description.

I remembered to eat today so I made Weight Watcher's oven-roasted chipped potatoes (chips) and a dry fried egg.

A "fusion" meal.  Tagine with cauliflower cheese (the latter made with the addition of lardons and garlic).

I cooked Swordfish with white wine risotto and beurre blanc.  It's the second time I've tried beurre blanc and I got it right this time.   Am going to have to put a lot of miles in the New Year.

Having had duck confit for dinner last night, I am having my traditional follow-up tonight of duck ragù, made using the meat stripped from the second leg out of the tin, flavoured with fennel seeds and a pinch of ground star anise.
