tandem hire / borrow / swap?

does anyone have a tandem gathering dust which they want to lend out for a couple of months?  We want to try one for a bit before spending...

can either hire for wine tokens or lend you a ti road bike or a moulton for a bit!


I'm 6'2 and MrsMike is 5'3   :)

Yep. Dawes Super Galaxy twin. I'm 5'11", and it's just small enough for me (meaning that I think it'll be okay for you, unless you like really really stretched out). Suzy is 5'5". It's ready to ride, pretty much.

It's in Long Eaton. I have a custom roof rack that might fit if you wanted to collect by car.

I wouldn't expect any payment, but if you insisted on buying us a bottle of wine, we wouldn't throw it away.

We probably couldn't manage a month without ours, but you'd be very welcome to borrow it on an occasional basis.

Flat-barred touring setup.  Pretty sure it'll fit.

(Will be at the camping weekend, if you want to give it a quick try then).

There will be a supply of similar-sized stokers, I'm sure. Crinklylion's 5' 1". I had to ditch the suspension seatpost for her because it wouldn't go low enough. I'd guess that Julian is 5' 3"ish. They are excellent sports whom I'm sure would be happy to give you a damned good stoking, Mike. That's not to mention Emily herself, of course.

...and in case that's not enough choice, there's an awesome 531 framed Orbit down here in SE London, formerly a Clarion machine, which we're not finding the time to use at the moment.
