Returning an Acer product for repair? [RANT]

I've just had my Acer Aspire One back following a repair.

And today I realised the 16 GB SDHC Card I left in the expansion slot has not been returned with it.
Okay, okay, if I had remembered it was there, I would have removed it before sending it off. But as it happens I forgot.

This extra storage made the device really really useful. So now I have to argue the toss about it on Monday in order to try and get a replacement.

Grrrrrrrrrrrrrr!
