The following should apologise for existing:

  • The "creative brains" behind the current Celebrity Big Brother trailers on 5.  You are a tragic waste of blood.
  • The prancing cocks and she-cocks, and John McCririck, who appear in said trailers.  Anyone who can stand in a field holding up a placard reading "Marry me Alex" ought, in a sane Universe, to have been drowned at birth.
  • Anyone involved in the decision to pull the stake out of the undead corpse of the programme in the first place.

Going by what I have read - and I pity the reviewers who have had to watch this so that we don't have to - Mr. Desmond and Channel 5 have achieved what had been hitherto considered impossible, and found even more Stygian, foetid depths to plumb.

We can add the z-list nonentities who were dumb enough to agree to appear on the show, thus validating its existence.

I almost feel sorry for the Speaker of the House of Commons.  :-\

I quite like the Big Fat Gypsy wedding fella. When asked what he thought of Jedward he said ' Oi'd fockin' droyn 'em'.

Clarkson, again:

What’s the point of Welsh for example? All it does is provide a silly maypole around which a bunch of hotheads can get all nationalistic.

A film director, I think.  I don't know or care more than that.

Do Super-Twats have to be famous?

No.  But I think he is only a twat.  He's said one gormless thing on the tellybox.  He's got a long way to go before he comes close to the sheer torrent of ignorant inanity which constitutes the oeuvre of Morgan or Clarkson.

Agreed.  But I didn't think it was worth starting a thread for mere twats.  :)

It's the critically-acclaimed but often hapless Nicholas Winding Refn. I was watching that absent-mindedly and didn't notice it, only Bill's grovelling apology at the end. Quite funny really.

Have we had Gyles, I can't spell my name, Brandreth?
If not, I'll nominate him.
If we have, I'll nominate him again.

Yep, that's the one.
At this rate, he's going to be Super Twat of the Year.

At least Gyles Brandreth (who is, incidentally, a supertwat, in case anyone was still unaware) was candid about his complete contempt for his former constituents on Just A Minute last night.  I get the feeling that is a more common view than we might hope.

Which reminds me: that venerable broadcasting institution Nicholas Parsons should be put on the Supertwat list, not least for saying that Gyles Brandreth was 'the most literate and intelligent person'  he knows.  Either that is unwarranted sycophancy to an already dangerously overinflated ego, a subtle pisstake, he has a very narrow circle of acquiantances, or else Parsons truly is thicker than three short planks.
