I bit the bullet and brought myself a new semi decent smoke machine, it'll serve the use of our parties and small film effects. It didn't come with any instructions though which I thought was odd but it was brand new and sealed from a big reputable retailer.
It's a Zoom Powerfog 1000dmx.
So having brought it brand new and with me own money, the questions I have are:
1. Is all smoke fluid the same? I know you can different density but is heavy smoke more damaging to the machine than the light stuff and are the different brands all virtually the same thing so I can use SoundLab or Martin fluid safely in this?
2. How do I clean it and how often?
3. When operating the unit manually, how long can I keep the button pressed?
