OS supplied with machine from new. I have bought (for clients) XP with no problems with CoA etc. In fact, I have one machine at home which has XP Pro with a Dell CoA which came via fleabay. No problems yet

Machine has arrived. Sitting charging after initial fire up to check that it is working properly. I'll get round to loading stuff up etc next week sometime.

Remember the config time always takes longer than the 30 mins you think it should take!

Things going well. Tomorrow I intend to try and load Dragon Naturally Speaking v9.5 Professional with the legal dictionary, and textHELP Read & Write Gold v8.1
tbh, Dragon is the critical one for me.

Good luck. Do let us know if those two play nicely with windows 7, I never had much time to play with the compatibility mode which some software needed as I don't have a windows 7 box, just XP and a handful of Vista ones (which I rarely use.).
