I took a snow ball off the balcony rail last night and popped it in the freezer.

I will save it and throw it as some one on the hottest day of the year.

Sorry mate that never works, the snowball will turn into a icy thing just that the things that you need to defrost your freezer of now and again, what ever that is called.

I have tried many times and failed to have a snowball ever a few months later.

Been falling with various degrees of conviction for about four hours in Harlot, but after a brief attempt at settling it seems to have given up the struggle.

Not fair, I wanted to go home early.

Yad Moss, England's premier ski resort has started to attract a new clientele, East European workers in search of a snow fix. I met Alex yesterday, a Russian/Greek from Moscow who had come up from Whiston on Merseyside for the weekend. It must make a change for them to mix with people enjoying the winter and reassure them that Britain is not entirely populated by nesh whingers (from their perspective obviously).

Although it hasn't snowed here for a week or two, it has remained cold and remarkably wet.

This is not a good time for the gas valve on the central heating boiler to give up the ghost, as it did last Thursday, and with no sign of a replacement yet. Mrs. Wow has been baking more than usual. 4 pies yesterday. Cake this afternoon...

nesh whingers

Cracking expression - and the first time I've heard "nesh" outside of the valleys!  I use it a lot :-)

We had a good dump here today - the top road to Monmouth was impassable bu tthe valley was OK.

Another blizzard here this evening - looked like a snowman when I got home after 20 miles home in it. Good fun!
Some of it should melt tomorrow before the next lot tomorrow evening (allegedly)  ;)

Oh FFS!!!!!

OK.  I retract that somewhat.  Although it has snowed most of the afternoon and evening in Brum, it hasn't settled.

But still.  ENOUGH ALREADY!

Bugger  >:(

I believed the forecast .

I did a similar thing in arranging to work today. This morning's weather allowed me to believe that it was a reasonable decision. This afternoon it's not cold, the sun is shining brightly & the roads have dried out but my work is unfinished thus preventing a change of mind.
Bl**dy frustrating innit? :(
