Race-day tweaks

What little tweaks do you do to your bike on race-day?

Obviously I take off the mudguards and the Barbie glitter tassels... ;)

...less obviously I'll remove the valve caps and nuts for fast tyre changes.  Normally I run with both as the nuts make for fewer valvicide punctures and the caps are just clean.

I'll also adjust the QRs.  Normally I run those tight-as-you-like and parallel to the fork and chainstay for neatness and security, but for a race they're a tad looser and both pointed back and horizontal for really easy QR'ing.
It takes blood and guts to be this cool but I'm still just a cliché.

Put the wheels in. Pump the tyres up.

The race bike is currently bottle cageless - trimmed down to the minimum.

Check the bits work, brakes don't rub etc. It will be a windy TT tonight. If the weather is really rough I'll take the winter bike instead (and wear my fluo yellow top, and run a rear light.).
