The Knowledge / Re: Are these hydraulic calipers serviceable?

The pitch is that the ceramic pistons are stiffer and stay rounder for longer, so leak less. The thing is that if crap gets in then they can also break. I had a set of the 505 calipers where the piston broke up inside the caliper, so when I tried to push them back to fit new pads I damaged the caliper. They were relatively old by that point, and they didn't leak though! :)

I used the Epic Bleed Solutions kit as well - I might still have it if you want to borrow it.

Looks like a Post Mount - IS mount adapter.

I've destroyed more ceramic pistons than resin.

Well, Lankum was rather good - they're so strong live. False Lankum right through, in order.

Opener was Andy the Doorbum, who was incredibly striking and a really good match. Weird, mind - but wouldn't mind seeing him again.

Lankum back in London soon, Hammersmith in late October, and hints dropped on Sunday about a coming announcement of who the support is going to be (apparently someone they think they should be supporting).

Only a few days separate that from PSB at the Roundhouse, so that'll be busy, and I fancy Bonny Light Horseman there a month later. (Anaïs Mitchell's folk supergroup - good at the Barbican last year, though of course that's a much more formal setting.)

Of the things you mentioned at the National, only have tickets for BFTBS so far, but plan to get last minute cheapies for most of the rest of the season at some point (which is a point, the Brontë thing closes this week).

I would suggest ditching the clips for a while so that you can move your ankle more easily.  Would shorter art longer cranks give less need for ankle movement?

I would look for a good sports massage therapist as the muscle is likely to have shortened and stiffened from the immobilisation .
Good luck

An estate agent in Swindon called Peepal, which sounds like either a Shewee competitor or a hooker that Trump has on speed dial.

Whilst these are all good engineering solutions, I'm still coming back to the "why" i.e. why the top overflow stopped working, which I think is coming back to the alignment caused by possible aging.  One or other of these solutions is likely to be useful in soem way though

Two possibilities I can suggest, blocked by leaves and other debris or a build up of biological slime. I would suggest if you can access it cleaning your top link.

However remember that a top link can only fill the second tank once the first is full, unless your inlet feeds both tanks and the overflow link is only there to correct an imbalance, if this is the case then check your inlet system that takes the water from the downpipe as that is probably blocked to the tank that isn't filling.

My 100m splits today ranged from 2:53 to 3:36 (mostly breaststroke).

Did 2.3km this morning, with splits mostly in the range 2:40-2:50. Felt great and could have kept going longer but thought I'd better think about getting to work (was still the first person in the office though).

I think more than anything else, this is a sign that I've finally shaken off the chest infections that have been bugging me since February. Only just realised that I'm actually not coughing any more.
