Catering Question
« on: 16 May, 2019, 02:40:43 pm »
A bit of a "how long is a piece string" question but here goes :)

I'm putting on a folk concert in the local church on Saturday and we're offering a free drink (wine or water/juice) in the interval. What proportion of people (all adults) would you expect to choose wine over water or juice?

Just to complicate roughly half live within walking distance

Get the wine on Sale or Return from Majestic, if you've one nearby, then you can have enough for 100%.

Not to be confused with the wedding feast where they caned it.

ETA  ISTR that larger Sainos do sale or return, as well as glasses hire.

If its folkies surely they will all want to choose from a selection of real ales ?
I think you'll find it's a bit more complicated than that.

Don't even go there!

I suggested that to the vicar who agreed but "certain elements*" are against the idea of "beer inna church"

Not happy with beer but presumably delighted to imbibe enough 'blood of christ' until he can actually see Jaysus himself.
