Wossat noise?
« on: 19 June, 2008, 12:16:37 pm »
My bike seems to have developed an unusual ticking noise near the rear hub when I freewheel.

And the gear levers appear to have moved from the bar ends to the down tube.

Hold on - I think it could just be that I'm riding the Woodrup, which has  Campag freewheel (yes, I did mean freewheel). :-[

Seriously, every time I freewheel, I look over my shoulder to see who's on  my wheel ;D

I'd forgotten how quiet my STX freehub is ;)

I am still trtying to get used to this since joining the Carlton Club.

Mind you, yesterday I went out on the Audax bike and tried to change gear with the bottle cage  :D :D

I was doing that on Wednesday, riding my fast bike with STI levers instead of my Galaxy with down tube shifters. :D ::-)
On the same ride, Clarion kept trying to change with the bar ends that didn't have shifters instead of the down tube that did. ;D
