We have a Toshiba 200CDS/810 laptop acquired from one of Mrs R's former employers in the late 90s. The battery doesn't hold charge and the screen is dicey. It has an RS232 port, a serial printer port, a cd drive, a serial (not usb) mouse, a modem and a plug in floppy drive.
Current plan is to remove and destroy the hard drive, and recycle the rest. But I seem to recall that ancient computers were in demand for things like running machine tools, is this still the case? If so how would I connect with a future user? Not really bothered about making £££ as long as I don't lose out.
