What Fat% did you start from and what are you now?

Fat % no idea but after 11 days including the cheat day I am down 10 lbs in 11 days. Looking at my belt I would think near all of that is fat.

Essentially NSNG (No Sugar, No Grains); this kind of diet will always win, IMO - I've not read any anecdotes that have said "I stopped eating starchy stuff and immediately put on weight."

Good to have a cross-check with the scales - waist measurement is good if you're a bloke. You might have a slower week on the scales, but lose another cm from the waistline, which is good for morale. FTR I've lost 8cm from my waist since New Year  :D.

To my reckoning at fat = 9 kCals / g, 10 lb is 40770 kCals.

That’s a 3700 kCals daily deficit.

How the * can a person shift that in 11 days unless they are seriously ill or have had a knife attack?

To stay healthy, you must have consumed minimum 1500 kCals, so your daily exercise must have been 120 miles on a bicycle.

Keep it up.

Unless you've lost 7.5lb of water.

Been away house hunting....

Quite probably there was an element of water loss too. The wife think as much as 40% could have been due to that.

We are both on it and she lost 4 lbs to my 11 but she is also taking a number of drugs for pain and so on. The diet should lose one 20 lbs in 30 days and it looks as if I am well on track to achieve that, and our intent is to run it for 60 days as we both want to lose a couple of stones each.

Not only do we weigh but we also measure. Calves, thighs, bum and tum and biceps. With a small spread sheet that gives an over all inch figure and the last time we did this I lost 15" from 150 to 135"

What can I say but it works.
