Title: recording webinar (as the viewer not the host)
Post by: Quisling on 19 November, 2018, 08:53:46 am
Mrs Q has to attend a training webinar but it's on a Sunday afternoon so she wants to record it and watch it at her leisure, not smack in the middle of the family weekend.  It's a paid for thing so I'd hope the hosts would make the webinar available afterwards anyway, but just in case not then what is the best way to capture the content on a laptop running Windoze 10?  She'd like to be able to start the recording and then leave it alone to get on with it if possible.

Ta in advance.

Windows 10 has a great Game DVR function but it can be limited if you don't have a compatible video card so worth testing it out first

I've used it to capture route flythroughs from a web view on veloviewer OK.

OBS studio. Set it to record that window and use computer sound as an input, not the mic.
