Free Helmet Rain-Cover

Free hotel shower caps fit snugly over most cycle helmets.

Not so cool-looking but then if you've ever cycled through Snowdonia, at night, in heavy rain, you wouldn't care (unfortunately I wasn't carrying one).

Anyway they come in a tiny package so you can store one in your saddlebag for when you need it.

Can be used as saddle covers as well

Couldn't you just wear one on your head, as intended, with the helmet over the top, thus eliminating the problem of how it looks?

You mean those saddle covers supplied by hotels can be used in the shower as well  ???
The worst thing you can do for your health is NOT ride a bike

Sound advice, and forms part of my intro film to the joys of PBP made in 2003.

Too sweaty probably.  This way you would still get some air-flow albeit reduced (not a bad thing in Snowdonia)

Absolutely!  Helmut Rain-Cover is innocent.
