Title: Maps/route planning Poland - Germany - Holland - Belgium
Post by: robgul on 24 January, 2019, 10:16:09 am
I'm trying to find something that works like Memory Map does for the OS in the UK - that is to see maps detailed enough for cycling and be able to print them as a "route book" for a long-distance ride.   Memory Map used to have a maps of the countries (except Poland) but now only does UK OS & France IGN.

Ideally I want the base mapping on the PC (in the way that Mem Map works)

The actual routing isn't the problem - I want a base map where I can plan the route myself and then save segments as .gpx and also print.

Any suggestions?

Rob

Cycle.travel does PDF strip maps of routes at a choice of two scales, which works reasonably well IME; I think you have to create a route and save it, then it can generate the maps for you.
