A clubmate and I did the Kingdom Come 400 Permanent yesterday, part of which shares the same route as the Snow Roads. I took the opportunity to check out a couple of possible controls.
Whether you wish to "caption it" for either picture, I'll leave up to you, and your bad taste. ;)

Banchory: the cafe I was going to use appears to be closed. Somerfield have a cafe on the outskirts of town that is open early enough. It's a possible.

Braemar: all local cyclists, and bikers, know the Hungry Highlander. Their chips 'n' cheese is just what you need to power you over the climb of the Cairnwell.
