I will NOT become embroiled in the resultant comments flamewar! (I ride every 'danger' spot virtually every day...). Frustrating to have Spokes call for more cycle lanes and ASLs as a solution, even more so for lanes on Lothian road to be discounted because they would 'cause congestion'. Everyone seems to forget there are already bus lanes both ways there that bikes can use and are perfectly good (save the usual Edinburgh road surface!).
