The actually published example is Roberto Calasso, who wrote two novels in succession, called respectively "Ka" and "K".
I have no idea which is more interesting." Ka" is a rendering of Hindu myth into the conventions of a postmodern European novel. It took me several attempts to get through. "K" is something to do with Kafka but frankly Kafka is weird enough done straight, and I have never looked at it.
I suspect that "K" is itself a good subject for the treatment of this thread, and instead I'll try reading "".
