Get past the littering and anti-social aspect, and it's actually quite impressive. ;D

We were overtaken by a house in NZ, it was overhanging the truck so much it actually went over our heads.

It's quite common in Poland to see old houses sold "for removal" but those are traditional wooden buildings, no foundations (they rest on big timbers), taken away as numbered pieces for reconstruction (or turning into something else), not as complete house-shaped units.

It is pretty common in Oz and NZ to move timber-framed houses around. They are normally on stumps and it is comparatively easy to run a big chainsaw down the middle and take the halves away on big trucks.
