If I see her again, I will tell her to sit somewhere else.

The people in the background had been watching it and had called the RSPCA, so I left them to it.

great shot

I like the crop.. has a sense of honesty about it
And all of that space, give a sense of what the subject communicates she may be feeling
The tone and texture in the back wall also helps convey what the subject may be feeling.
Also like the delay in noticing the girls reflection.

Photo taken at the Association of Professional Foresters Show on Friday at the European Horse Logging Championships being held there - lots of lovely horses.  The handler was speaking German, don't know what the horse is - think possibly a Rhineland (German Heavy Draft Horse).  It was a roan colour, but I have done this in split tone, so you can't see the colour of the horse.  Absolutely stunning horse, anyway - huge and powerful, but so precise.  Looks like it could pull heavy stuff all day without any bother.

DS,
Loved your gallery in the woods. Showed a colleague at work today, she was impressed too.

Here's one from a walk this evening. Now't to be amazed at.. the light was running away from me.

Mike, I know this is n't the right thread but I've always worried about disposing of injured creatures, such as birds and small mammals.  I'm reluctant to try and break their necks because I have no training in makingit painless.  Do you knoe what to do?  Does anyone else?  (I know about ringing the RSPCA but they aren't always handy.)

Before our building goes much further I am so wanting to get onto the site when work has finished for the day and put a garden gnome with fishing rod, a fake heropn and some plastic ducks into the 'water feature' in the middle right of this picture. A shark fin would not go amiss either.

A bit of creative lighting and it could be quite entertaining.

I went to a similar event three years ago, the fireworks are good, but I think the horses and Landaus are the most interesting thing.

Not today, but the last time I went out with my camera.

Climber getting his gear ready. Saw quite a few people climbing around here.

Playing with a long lens.
