Neither Washington Nor Moscow

On the last Bank Holiday weekend in May, some friends and I made our way from 'nearly Washington' to the 'edge of Moscow' over a two day period. What a stunning bike ride through great scenery and almost traffic free roads for the most part. The 'Neither Washington Nor Moscow' tag means something political to my friends, but I like themed rides and linking together these two iconic places was fun.
I've written up '
Day 1
'. Day 2 will have to wait until tomorrow.

Day 2 was utterly wonderful too. Beautiful scenery in the Scottish borders and pretty much traffic free cycling.
