[HAMR] 20th June - Teethgrinder Day 171
« on: 20 June, 2015, 06:47:10 am »
6:30am start for Steve today. Go Steve!

I wonder if we might see some big miles from Steve this weekend. The summer solstice saw Tommy take some huuuuge miles: 295 on the 20th and 361 on the 21st (that's 475km and 580km in Audax money).

To put Tommy's mileages in perspective- the RAAM leaders are doing not much more a day... Somewhere between 600 and 660 km a day. They typically ride 20 hours a day.
No matter who you barrack for (support or root for), what this year is doing is giving us all a much greater appreciation of Tommy's incredible achievement in 1939!!

Matt - I was ready at 6am but Kurt has yet to post his milage for yesterday, so you'll have to wait.

He's in the privacy zone. A few to add at the end plus typically 10 from the morning should be a good total.
