Welcome to the wonders of yacf and MEMWNS, Jan

The Three Elms do pickled eggs, don't they?   ;D [Don't worry, we're all harmless, provided we take the right medication...]

Do we need festive tunz?
no

That's it - we'll be getting the Cheesy Christmas Playlist for sure now!

Oh dear, I'm detecting there are a lot of Grumpy Elves out there.  Would one of my special hugs help?

Welcome Jan!  We will definitely be coming up TMNH now as it would be great to meet you. If the Witham peloton sets off at 7:30 we should be on the hill between 8 and 8:30pm.
Is that an indictment of levels of fitness that it's going to take us half an hour to ascend TMNH??

I'm out this week so will be at Spa Rd at 7.30.

Gosh!  Shame we haven't got a fatted calf  ;D  We will have to make do with pickled eggs.

A question for the committee to consider ...

Do we need festive tunz?

Yeah alright. Making a special effort with little in the way of anything obstructive on the horizon. Pickled eggs will be fine.

And its a no for tunez.

The Three Elms do pickled eggs, don't they?   ;D [Don't worry, we're all harmless, provided we take the right medication...]

Great news about the picked eggs, but sounds tame after reading about the option of a sprout curry a couple of weeks back.

I've got the bike in London so will be out tonight. Depending on what time I escape and taking into account what time I can get on a train I will get off somewhere between Shenfield and Chelmsford and wiggle my way to the 3 Elms for around 9ish.

Looks like I will be test-riding the newly-repaired Guilliamo closer to home.  Enjoy the bar snacks.

Hi Guys

If its OK with yourselves I'll meet you at the Generals Arms on the Ridge just before the turn down Riffams.  I'll be there from 8pm.

Watch out when coming down from Hatfield Peverel towards the river as the Sugar Beet is being moved and the roads are muddy and rather slippery.

Cheers

Jan

No worries Jan and thanks for the warning although muddy roads are the least of our worries today, there's just been another armed robbery here in Witham  :o

Who else is joining the festive Witham peloton this evening?  So far its me and Christophe.

I'm planning to be along.  Hopefully I'm home in good time from the Brownies/Guides drop off today, otherwise I'll see you at the pub.
You are in a maze of twisty flat droves, all alike.

Excellent, we are leaving Dodge City (*) Witham past Oliver's so you could always meet us at the Malting's / Maldon Road mini roundabout if you're pushed for time.

(*) Apparently Corals betting shop on Newlands Street was also hit on Monday evening.

The bike has been readied, as long as I can get away form the keyboard I'll be at the roundabout...
