eTrex Firmware 3.6 released

I noticed that a new firmware update for the eTrex 20/30 has been released:

Bearing in mind the debacles of the last few Oregon releases I'd wait a few weeks to see what the suckers early adopters have to say  ;D

What?

You don't trust Garmin's software development department to do a good job ????

Yes I'm mighty dubious.

And does it have any real advantages?

My Etrex 20 does what I need - any slight glitch or freeze easily remedied.

Depends what your current version is and how you use your GPS.  If for example you are on v2.9 then an update would probably improve more things than it breaks.  If you have a later version than that, any changes are things you may or may not notice.
The complete change history is listed in the link given in the OP.
