The programmers have gone mad today and its wall to wall royal stuff today.
My excuse is I'm home alone with a cold. So far I've clocked Anne of a thousand days, the olivier Henry V (made during WWII), an olivier narrated programme of the coronation, A Queen is Crowned, (the script starts at, "these sacred isles" and cranked up the religiomysticism of Britain's ancient monarchy from there), then a crappy docudrama about wallis and gromit forced me to go to Tescos.
It gets a bit modern for the rest of the day but finishes off with Carry On Henry. Class.
To think I could have been riding the mille alba ....
