Pleased to announce that the Thanet Platinum Audax events are back this year - just published on the AUK website:
200: https://www.audax.uk/event-details/10812-thanet_platinum_200
160: https://www.audax.uk/event-details/10813-thanet_platinum_century
110: https://www.audax.uk/event-details/10814-thanet_platinum_110
Not open for entries yet but putting it out there so people can pencil it in their diary now.
There are some minor variations to the 200 and 160 routes since last time - first control will be at Hawkhurst rather than Biddenden. It's a bit further along (some people commented last time that Biddenden came a bit too early on the route for them) and Hawkhurst has much better options for getting PoP, though I may even have a proper control with real humans stamping cards, watch this space.
Format will be much the same as previously: start/finish venue is Goody Ales in Herne, so there will be BEER at the finish (and camping for those who want to be able to enjoy the beer without worrying about driving home) and there will be a meal at the finish included in the entry fee.

Ah, reading it on my phone. Text is compressed!
Can't make September unfortunately. Could have done June 😂

Ah, shame! I’m hoping to make this a regular thing again so maybe next year…

This looks fun. Haven't ridden in that area since my grandparents lived in Broadstairs, decades ago. And just about do-able by train from home

I'm Kent based so would be happy to help with controls.
