50% rule?
« on: 12 August, 2018, 05:55:01 pm »

Looking at my AUK record, I notice this section:

Points   12 (8 in perms)
(8 championship points - 50% rule applies)

What is the 50% rule?

It only applies to distance based AUK championships to ensure eligible riders ride a mix of calendar and perm rides;

unless you are a contender I wouldn't worry!

Is it 50% of the perm, or 50% of the calendar events?

Calendar events must make up at least of 50% of your point's total for the competitions, so as you have 4 points from calendar rides, you can only count 4 of your perm points for the total.

Gotcha. That makes sense. Once I can add the 5 points from Dutch calendar events, that number will change.

Cheers.
