Happy with RT also worth considering (given OD's good deed)  The Samaritans perhaps? (half & half?)

I'm easy either way as both good causes....

also - forward planning, clown bike destination next wed, Writtle... any takers? (small pub though but)

Clown bike available for Writtle next week.

Beer acquired for tonight and in two large panniers. [The trailer was a trifle unstable, mind you all that weight on the rear rack might be a handful too]. Uphill, backstreets route to the Jalsa from home. Might have to walk some of it! Only half a mile though.

What - No Route! We might get lost on the way there......

I hereby formally register my intent to join for Wednesday evening curry.
There was some discussion about timing of arrival at the Jalsa Ghar so I motion for the Witham Peloton to convene at the Spa Road roundabout earlier than is traditional ready for a 7pm-ish depart.  That should allow for arrival, locking up faff and settling in for about 8:30.  Sound like a plan?
(always assuming no colonial interference of course)
Also OK for 7:00pm launch from Spa Rd.

Good evening funsters, a nearly merry Xmas to you all.

I was just wondering, are we riding to The Writtle Wheatsheaf tomorrow evening?

Small Wheels ready to go ... a proper test ride is needed having spent odd moments this week trying to cure a creak - there are so many places this could originate from [on the bike  ;D]!

Now that I have a way to be home before midnight and at the same time a reason not to drink (which helps my gout) I might be along tonight....motorised of course! ;D

Barring last minute work stuff, I'm hoping to be at Spa Rd RBT for 1930.
Only got the one bike, so I'll have to make do with a red nose.

I still hope to be out tonight - but not at spa rd.
If the peloton is coming up North hill I could intercept at the Generals - Else I'll see you there are 9:00pm

We don't have a route from Spa Rd, I haven't had the chance to fettle one.

Could use the route we had for the Roxwell Chequers, sail past the Chequers and take a right into Writtle? Makes the trip home shorter...

I've had a rummage through the archives and COME UP WITH THIS.  But I might had a chance to load it into a Garmin so if anyone planning from launching from Spa Rd can oblige it would be handy.
