I on the left. It's as far as I remember the only opening but certainly doesn't look like entrance to pub garden. Seem to recall gravel so go easy

It’s the archway about 3 doors to the left of the Sun Inn as you look at it from the road. Large beer garden at rear.

I'll be out to play tonight - I am on late shift (good lunch at the compasses) only to get in work and find my staff tonight were on holiday (planned for) or had a death in the family - a rabbit!

Confirm entrance to rear of pub is to left hand side of the pub itself, it looks like your going into someones garden, take care on the gravel.

I'm working from home today, and will be coming to the Sun Inn, but I have meetings right up until 7:30, so I'll make my own way there.  I have a shortened version of the OD route worked out in case I'm running too late to try to catch folks up on the original route.

Thanks for all the replies confirming the entrance to the beer garden.

I've got a webinar until 7pm, but will be making haste after then. With a tailwind I should be arriving in good time.

Agenda items for this evening...

1. Bivvy night Friday 9th November - who might attend?
2. Karaoke at Epiphany - is this a good idea?

I'm out to play tomorrow. Low gear (by my standards) on the fixed to escape the Colne valley.

Paging Oscar's Dad. There's an interesting request to join ACME on the PBP Pubinar thread. I think that deserves your considered advice, given that they are asking 'what they need to do' in order to join ACME.

I'm sure there's some rational behind going to the Dog Inn at Halstead, though it escapes me looking at the Interwebby pics, maybe someone's hoping the bagpipe quartet will be playing.  Anyhow, I offer this route for the Witham Peloton, should arrive around the usual non-OD route time of 9pm.

I'm hoping to join for a bit of DogInning, but I probably won't be riding with the bunch since I have an appointment in Chelmsford at 18:00, and probably won't be back/changed etc. in time.

It’s was an unvisited 2013 GBG pub. Obviously it isn’t anymore.

Will try to get out, especially as Huggy's route takes us straight past my house (and no doubt my kids will find that hilarious). All depends on work as ever.

I might actually be able to rendezvous with the Witham Peloton after all, if I get a move on.  Will try and pick you up as you pass through Witham.
