I like mango chutney with bacon - one variant sandwich I do a lot is a naan with cream cheese, spring onions, bacon, and mango chutney. Lush.

Mango chutney is very good at rendering palatability in much which is meh.

Cottage cheese with garam masala.

I hate cottage cheese. I really do. But for some reason I love it with the above.

Shepherd's pie sandwich.

*the cheapest kind of frozen pie, mixed up when hot and spread onto bread.  Cottage pie works just as well.

I have mentioned the pie club sandwich elsewhere. It's beyond superlatives. It like Elvis Jesus with a jetpack. Less of a sandwich, more of a religious experience.

Sausage roll sandwich. Has to be a sausage roll with nice flaky pastry still warm and a soft bread bun. Don't try this with a SRSO from Greggs.
I think you'll find it's a bit more complicated than that.
