« on: 10 April, 2008, 09:54:36 am »

Walk the Walk is in need of a strong team of enthusiastic volunteers for The MoonWalk Edinburgh 2008. On Saturday, 14th June 12,000 women and men will set off at midnight to Power Walk a marathon around Edinburgh wearing decorated bras, in aid of breast cancer causes.

The organisers are seeking a team of Volunteer Cyclists to help patrol and marshal the route, be front and back markers for the walk, support the route marshals, and encourage and motivate the walkers. Cyclists will work in teams throughout the night and are allocated to a specific shift. The first team will report to The Meadows at approximately 9:00pm on Saturday and will finish by the early-morning on Sunday. The second team will report to The Meadows at approximately 6:30am on Sunday and will finish by 12 noon.
