Go Steve.  Back to those favoured fens?  Another March to March in March?  Hope yesterday wasn't too bad a day at the office and that today is a great one.

102 miles on the tracker at 2.38pm - so looks like it will be quite a late finish tonight or another shortish day.  #worried_about_steve

...but, looking on the bright side, he has spalded.

It looks as if he may have bitten off a bit too much today - he is still a long way from home. After his Herculean efforts recently he may be excused an off day or two - I just hope he gets some time to rest and recuperate. Even Steve has his limits.

All is not lost, todays tracker is about 18-20 miles down because of a lot of left-right turns across the flatlands, and he has only recently started again after an hour off for food, though admittedly a 200 mile day is looking like a 9pm finish

Go Steve!

Calendar has Steve staying with a host in Cambridge this evening, so it doesn't need to be a late one unless he wants it to be.

I believe he's heading to Red Lodge and then looping back to Cambridge via Wilburton, Cottenham, Histon.  I won't start cooking until he's about 35km away; I'm just watching him get ever-closer, it's addictive  ;)

Go Steve!

Well I'm glued to the tracker most of the day, so goodness knows what it must be like for a host! Hope all goes smoothly Wilkyboy, and fingers crossed Steve gets the distance he's aiming for.

Go Steve

don't get sucked in Wilky, just when you think it's safe to start cooking, the boy hurtles off on another loop just to tease you!
Good luck with the hosting.

I just managed to shout "Go Steve!" at him as he came into Littleport.  :D

He looked round and gave a thumbs up, but I don't think he recognised who I was.  :-\

I was too busy fumbling with the tracker on my phone to get the camera out.

On the Spot tracker map, it would be good to have an option to display only today's track, and toggle the whole year to date's worth of tracks on/off...  When the tracker points get more spaced later in the day, it's sometimes pretty difficult to see the current track... (IMO)

Go Steve!

Looking at his track, I was half-expecting him to turn left and head Fenwards just before Littleport (there are only a few opportunities to cross the Gt Ouse), but if he doesn't turn left in Ely then I may have to start cooking early!

UPDATE: it looks like he just turned left

I think he has under 40 miles to go today (17:15) — given the information I have and filling in the gaps, I reckon this is his route to Girton, Cambridge:  http://ridewithgps.com/routes/7236517.  If you live on the route, now's your time to grab a camera.  I reckon he'll be here about 19.45, unless he stops somewhere for a cuppa.

"Dinner for 8, Mr Abraham?"   ;D

Lots of uneven rail crossings through Queen Adelade/Prickwillow, including one at an angle that has caught a few people out.  :-\
