[HAMR] 21st June - Teethgrinder Day 172
« on: 21 June, 2015, 09:17:18 am »
Looks like a late start and the tracker firing up quite a few hours after solstice sunrise.

Go Steve!
It is simpler than it looks.

Allez Steve

Getting up day after day after day.  That's what's impressive.

I get up every day. I don't get on my bike and cycle prodigious distances. That's the bit that impresses me.

160 miles on the tracker near Biggleswade, 32 miles per Google Maps to MK, so looks like it will be (only) just over 200 miles today.  Seems he has a rhythm of a 250 mile day followed by a 200 mile day

Should be ok, he's up compared to last week so far.  Last Sunday he did just over a Godwin so anything over that is in the right direction.  He said he needs to get to 1750 per week vs last weeks 1500, can't expect that in one step.

200 miles as a recovery ride. The mind boggles. Brings home just how insanely difficult this challenge is.
