How do I get Bonnie Tyler's 'Total eclipse of the heart' out of my brain

There's nothing you can really do except... turn around every now and then.

Earworms are highly infectious organisms. You are spreading a disease!
I'd not thought of that song for a decade and now it's going round many yacf heads.

Now I'm only falling apart.
Nothing I can do...

I used to work with her uncle. He was very proud of her.

I'm lucky being immune to ear worms because I never notice the words to songs.

Except Dylan's.

I've had Lou Christie's 'Lightnin' Strikes' stuck in mine.

The only way to get a really annoying choon out of your head is to replace it with one even more annoying.

I can heartily recommend Spotify, I've been listening to songs that I haven't heard in ages, and the adverts aren't too intrusive.

Currently listening to Iron Maiden. I'd never pay for it, but at least I know they'll get their royalties for me listening to it.

So, the question is: was she ever outstanding in her field?

I am pleased to say that I have read through this thread and not one of the song titles mentioned is known to me. I can therefore continue to enjoy imagining Mozart's clarinet concerto being played.

For the entire first night of PBP, I had the first verse of Half Man Half Biscuit's "Our Tune" on permanent repeat:

You said you’d found me helpless on the A47
Shouting at the passers-by that Alan Brazil
Seems to be the singer in the Goombay Dance Band
And now you want to put me in the ambulance
But I don’t want to go in the ambulance

Now that's irony ???

A new temp was quietly singing http://www.youtube.com/v/18LLfZzDYnQ&rel=1 to herself.
Unfortunately I overheard it as I passed by. >:(

Good Shout!

I regularly sing this song to myself, though the name of the dame is not Noelle in my world ;)
