Can you put five 600s on your PBP entry form?

Can longer distances substitute for shorter in qualifying?

Done a couple of 200s for qualifying so far (Pontivy & Carhaix).

Just as a teaser the cycling club in Carhaix had their publicity pbp banners & posters ready for the big event on display in their clubhouse. I enjoyed studying these as a bottle of beer & ham & cheese baguette were thrust into my hands when I finished. No questions just enjoy :)

I thought the Germans & Dutch where serious beer drinkers on rides but at every control I've visited so far it seems standard hydration for the French.

I'm doing my best to keep up :)

Not planning on PBP this year but thoroughly enjoyed the BRM 200 from St Palais sur Mer a couple of weeks ago. Poor weather but super ambiance. Well worth the 3€. Virtually all of the rides I've done in France have included alcohol (never before tried vin rouge at 6 in the morning). Yesterday's Tour du Grand Cognac included Schweppes/Cognac at the arrivée (pas mal).
I hope to ride the BRM 400 from Royan and also the 400 from La Roche. Then the 600 from Royan will complete the series. Not much in the way of hills, mais c'est comme ça.

All my plans for this year have been thrown out of the window and I will now have to try for  the 2019 PBP as my five year old has been diagnosed with acute lymphoblastic leukaemia , The outlook is good but it's going to be a long process so I will have to participate in my first PBP vicariously through this and other forum and I look forward to the ride reports when the dust has settled .

As I said in the other place, PBP is just a bike ride and is utterly trivial compared to such awful news.

I hope for the very best treatment and recovery for your little one.
