Scanner Problem
« on: 03 April, 2014, 08:49:34 pm »
I have a Canon 4400F scanner.  It's a bit slow, but seems to do a very good job.

However, I'm scanning a slide film, and the first strip it managed to do correctly, but it's treated the subsequent strips as negatives.  I don't know why, as I didn't change any settings.  I'd just like to either scan correctly or find out how to reverse the images I currently have.

I use Photoshop CS2 and Olympus Viewer 3.

Any suggestions appreciated.

OK, thanks, I've sorted it.  I have to open the image in Photoshop and use the Invert option.  The Raw software is a bit funny about seeing jpgs edited in photoshop sometimes, but it was fine with this.  The last strip of slides scanned just fine, though.  Odd.
