London Bike and Beer Group are organising our first Randonnée! It's not an AUK event but will follow the format as closely as possible.

Details on Facebook , and reproduced below in advance. Questions or suggestions welcome and hope to see you there.

---

🚲 Join LBBG for our first Audax/Randonée style event!

⛰️ The route is a 100km circuit through suburban London to the Kent countryside and back again, mostly on quiet streets and country lanes. Look out for the Rivers Ravensbourne, Darent and Thames along the way.

📍 Everyone sets off at 0930 and must return to base by 1730. The ride starts and ends at Denmark Hill which is served by Overground and Southeastern trains. As is traditional for LBBG rides, we start in the cafe and finish in the pub!

✅ There will be a few 'controls' along the route - one will be a 'fixed control' at OTFORD where your brevet card will be stamped by a controller, and there are four 'info controls' where you need to answer simple questions. Routesheets and GPS files will be available and all finishers will receive a certificate!

ℹ️ Please note this is a ride but not a race - all riders are expected to ride responsibly and considerately. You can take part with friends or solo as you wish.

💵 There will be a small charge of £3 per rider to cover costs, with any surplus donated to Sustrans.
