The Rawhide Care Home Lullaby

[Keep 'em] Movin', movin', movin',
Though they're disapprovin',
Keep those bowels movin'
RAWHIDE!*
All the things I'm missin'
Good vittles, love an' kissin'
Are missing at the end of
My life.

* wretched draw-sheet

Not there yet...
I've dusted off all those old bottles and set them up straight

Psycho Killer:
Tense and nervous, can't relax
Can't seem to face up to the fax
Can't send a telex,
There's no live wire
There's no smoke
Signal without fire.

(okay, not really, but should)
Riding a concrete path through the nebulous and chaotic future.

On the version of Winehouse's song on my iPod it's easier to hear this.

I don't think I've mentioned my eldest, when he was little, stomping into the kitchen after school, singing "Oh, the great grandad of York...".
Admission.  I'm actually not that fussed about cake.
