I love the sound of this. The Dynamic £120 and the Pro £230. It packs a lot for the money and takes 4 AAA battteries and is so small. Last time I used a synth it was a Roland TB303 I think about 25 years ago. Im thinking about getting one as a new toy :-D

If you've got an iThing, look at the SynthPad application - does much the same as the Kaoscillator, and a lot cheaper too :)

I came accross this a few week back. Looks like good fun if you have the skills.

The Nintendo DS has a Korg emulator (I have a copy).  Unsurprisingly, it goes by the name "Korg DS".  I think it had a sequel, amazingly enough called Korg DS 2.

Whilst not as much fun as twiddling with physical dials and wires, it was easy to lose track of time making random tracks.

Wow. I cant believe this instrument.  checked it out at Jonny Roadhouse today. OK you can do stuff on iPad and Nintendo DS lol though this is a different breed for a massive PA system or just a home made PA system of what I want to add to my other musical interest

The possibilities on this machine go from Jazz to Hardcore Tecno. This is the dream machine of synth. 10 year back you would pay £700 + for this stuff. What I love about it is anyone can use it. OK you have iThings and that though this is a PA analogue / digital machine. You will not get that on your iThing

Also anyone could make album after album on this machine with little or no knowledge of music. This machine is absolutely fantastic (go Pro though) no I don't work for Korg.

Any one who can recomend anything better I love to know !!! Keep ya iBits Nintendo DS out though lol :-D
