(I'm not a massive fan of the trendy colourwash that she'd asked for, so there's quite a few in B&W!)

I don't know if booking a photographer to shoot your engagement is romantic or creepy - but I like your photos.  Yeah, I agree about that low-contrast colour thing; I always think of the little oval stickers that the labs used to put on your enprints when I see stuff like that...

It's a fine line at the best of times...

I think that effect (plus a bit of gamma jibbling) is a reasonable approximation of how I see the world compared to normal vision.  I really don't see the attraction.

But then, as a result of seeing the world like that, I'm strongly biased to high-contrast B&W.

I expect they'll be thankful for the B&W images a few years down the line.

shit yes, that's exactly what bugs me about it too!!

I wasnt originally booked for the engagement; she phoned me in Jan and wanted a 'been together 2 years' photo session near valentines day as a present to him.  He just fell into her trap!

Isn't that supposed to be an MTB trail? We have Sustrans paths with worse surfaces than that: -

That is the uphill return. It is a skills trail rather than an mtb-able track.

One from last Surday at Coleton Fishacre (near Brixham) with the D600 - have only just started with FlickR, so will build up my site there bit-by-bit.

Well, there's the link, but I haven't worked out how to display the photo directly in this forum like many seem to.

Mod: fixed :)

First flight with the new Mobius cam:

Two captures from shaky video (I need to do bearings and props):

And the mandatory selfie from intervalometer mode: 8)

It's almost cheating when the light is good and you're in Devon.
It takes blood and guts to be this cool but I'm still just a cliché.

Hardly a selfie from that height!
I'm a bit envious, I'd love to have a got at this sort of stuff.

Well, instead I give you Hallé St. Peters in Ancoats

Tweaked the setup for better and sexier shots (spot the pigeon!):

And to the beach!

Churches are absolutely on my to-fly list.  It's surprising how much of the 3D world is instant death to little quadcopters though - every twig along that river, every tree in the graveyard, every cable in the village!

How do you get down there, Bill? I assume you didn't swan-dive into the lagoon.
