Sennheiser CX 300 Replacement Buds
« on: 14 April, 2008, 02:00:44 pm »
Hi,

I got a set of Sennheiser CX 300 earphone, and I have lost my ear buds. I'm sure that mine was the medium size.

And the only web sites I can find that have them are selling them in a 10 pack. I understand that they do also fit Sony and others in ear head phone.

So the option is to ask if any of you lost want to share them, or have a set laying around that you are not using. Or do any of you know where I can buy just one set of the buds.

I think I may have a pair somewhere at home (I normally use the foam ones)

I'll have a look tonight.

I've got a pair of the Sony ones but they are the large size. If they are any use let me know and I'll stick 'em in the post.

I thank you, I wonder if the one I got is the medium (or small) though, I can't remember. They are flush with the main body of the earphone, how big is the large size compared to the earphone ?

These are a medium and a small size fitted.

If yours sit flush with the body, I reckon they would be medium. I use the small ones and they are definitely slightly narrower than the body. The large, which I didn't bother with are wider and sit outside.

If you want to try my medium ones, let me know.

I think I have some. I'll check when I get back.

It's worth setting up a thread in The Swap like I did on ACF about swapping buds. There was a lot of mediums going about.

Can't help on the replacement bud parts, but....

My advice is whatever you do, do not buy CX300's off ebay!  They are the most faked headphones out there. Only buy from reputable store (high street or online).
The fakes have **** internals, and poor build quality on the internal mesh.

PS the ones in the pic look genuine to me :)

I have just bought two pairs of CX500's from ebay, different sellers.   One black, one white.

Both came in what appears to be identical and genuine packaging, both are bloody good and both were less than half high street price.   I'm a happy bunny.
