I need a standard threadless 1 1/4 " headset for a hack bike I'm putting together. Nothing too fancy. My Inbred has an FSA h/s that has a split crown race making the fitting and changing this a breeze. Do all FSA headsets have this feature?

1 1/4" ??

No, not all FSA headsets have a split crown race. The (1 1/8") Orbit XL II does, many of the other models do not. Available at a decent price from Chainreaction.

I meant 1 1/8" :-[.

I'm pretty sure it's the XL II I have on one bike. I'll look at CRC. Ta :).

The XLII and Extreme certainly used  to come with a split fork crown race.

So the three of us are in agreement on that one then?  :P

I obviously didn't phrase it very well.
