My sinister agents tell me another FNRTTC regular is racing too.  Eyes peeled in the 1830 race, it'll be "hilarious".

I notice there's a couple of chancers called Dowsett and Intxausti on the start list. Might bimble up....

Wonder if he really is inexhaustible.  Love to see Dowsett lap the field like 2011.

I'm up in That London tomorrow night to see Eddie Izzard at the O2, might well pop by Smithfield for the folding heats....

It all looked jolly good fun - until the sun went in. Back home and watching BGT/the Rugby now!

Between adamski and I we have some good photos and videos of zigzag. It's getting colder but my wine cape is expanding.

zigzag cruelly robbed of a win in the bendy bikes race. Mice had a valiant effort in team velovixen in the women's team challenge.  all good fun.

yay, podium finish! thanks to everyone encouraging, screaming, supporting - brilliant atmosphere. special thanks to loadsabikes who machined the steerer for this bike so i could install proper drop bars on it. kudos to Keith H, who i must admit is a stronger rider and took a deserved victory (fourth time?..). well, if i do some speed training next year - ...   ::-) ;D

(now off to bed for an early start tomorrow - ditchling :demon: 200)

Well done Zigzag,
What a great evenings racing as usual.
Did get a bit chilly once the sun went in though and I was hanging a bit post Oxford/London by the end.

Well done Rimas! Went after the heats (I was in the O2 when the folding final was on), but you were looking very strong in the heat. Keith H is the king of that race though, with good reason. I think he's won every year he's entered, apart from last year (Dahon's ringer Mr Janssen), win number five I think.

Mice didn't get lost on the course then?  :P

Mice didn't get lost, as she had lots of people to follow.  <cough> all of the rest of the field </cough>

I did manage to get my bit of the crowd shouting for her thobut.  A couple of pics will follow later.

Hannah Barnes re-instated as winner.  Or should that be 'instated'?

Is anyone going tonight?

I will be racing the Penny,  well in the race, not sure I will be quick enough to call it racing..

Yup. I'll be down there. Looking forward to the Pennies, the hire bikes, the folders and the retro race. Not quite so enthused by the 'normal' crit racing.

The normal races are definitely boring in comparison..
