Anyone recommend one? I've got some a/w in eps format and I'm stuck at the mo.

If I remember rightly you have to convert the eps file to an svg file using a command line tool then work on it in Inkscape and then convert it back.

I think you'll find it's a bit more complicated than that.

Inkscape should be able to do it
You might need perlmagick (edit: no, that doesn't help
)

I've actually had some success with pstoedit which is a command-line util to export a number of different file formats from an EPS. pcolbeck nearly remembered it correctly
. I can export to AI or SVG which Inkscape understands.
