Last in the north of Scotland and possibly the last one in Scotland, she carried on using the bike after the islands were fully van-enabled because she doesn't drive. Kudos to the woman for cycling year round whatever the weather in a very windy place on what looks a very heavy bike.

Around here they've gone electric. Some of them have 3-wheeled electric scooters with a swivel in the bottom bracket so that they can bank in the curves.
