Title: lupine light extension cable.....
Post by: stubbo on 02 February, 2010, 01:23:18 pm
I've a Lupine passubio light set which has suffered a bit of water ingress into the connector between the lamp and battery pack, consequently one of the terminals has corroded and gone open circuit.

All i need is a single crimp to replace the corroded one which Lupine, lovely people that they are, want to charge me £25 for!

As you can imagine i'm a bit peeved at this so i though i'd ask if anyone has ever tried to source a replacement and maybe had a bit more success than i'm having.

cheers

Can you post a picture or a description as it may be a standard electrical part?

I had this problem with the connector on the battery side  (Wilma) I used a piece of the (unused) extender cable which came with the kit, soldering it on to the battery. HTH
