Pastoral Peregrinations, tilting a little

Well, it would appear that the flights from LCY to Madrid are ending before April, so that idea is now shelved. There was a very lot of flat stuff en route, and some uncertain roads, too.

So, a rethink for where Rocinante and I will wander.

Obvious really, Galicia. Into Asturias airport (no I didn't know it existed) then up, up and away with Porto still as the end point. Roads look rather nice, what could go wrong? 5 or 6 days, 500km  10Km climbing. It's not that far from Santiago del Campostella, so there may be folks who know the area? Anyone fancy joining? Provisional dates April 26 to May 3.

Total weight 10.3 Kg including clothes to be worn & tools. I'm happy with that.

Off on Wednesday, decide on the day whether to cycle to T5.

Apparently I have packed 104 things (64 different), average weight is 100g

Wow.  I've done some detailed preparation in the past, but never quite down to that level.

It's been refined over multiple visits, the more detail the better it works as a check list. The weight check is to ensure that the panniers stay below 9Kg. Plus, it's kinda fun in a sad way.

All I need now is a translation for

from the manufacturers of the Joo Janta 200 Super-Chromatic Peril Sensitive Sunglasses.*

*And the best joke? Just for the hell of it I pasted into Google translate which came up with "Chance of rain 70% with rainfall amounts near 0.8 in. Possible."  (FTR it means gusts of wind up to 56Km) Joo Janta have obv been updating Google translate.
