We're going to plump for the 27 - 29 (well, it's actually until the morning of Mon 30 Jan 2017) January and get it booked in as there seems to be sufficient interest to fill some rooms. :) I'll update the thread. Yay!

Interested, assuming a dog-free sleeping room, but we probably ought not to make plans for that far off at this point.

It is in the diary already. We might be using a train, as EVs in late Jan are likely to require extra charging stops, and will therefore be very tedious. Hopefully we will be bringing our electric tandem. If I put it on the "high" setting I think Jan and I will challenge Deano to a race up to the Tarn...  :P

We will might end up with sleeping in the van as mutt is not allowed on/in beds and she will probably be wet. And will keep mutt at bay for sure :)

If I don't book my holidays well in advance I don't get them.  And I always like the week of my birthday off.

If you can get to Skipton I'm sure a lift can be arranged. :)

Yes, we'd love to, can we nab the 3-room if it's not gone?

Interested but some logistical difficulties which is probably why we've never been on one of these before...

We rarely do weekends away where the dog can't come because getting her to/from a dog sitter without a car before and after just for the sake of a couple of nights away fitted in around long hours at work is a PITA. So the dog would have to come. And if ever a dog would induce allergies in those so afflicted, Cam would (fluffy, moults...). Obviously she would be kept away from any bedrooms we weren't sleeping in but even so I'd hate to be responsible for someone else's asthma attack. She's fine sleeping on the floor however as that's the deal at home. But yeah, that's a biggie...

She's old now and also not amenable to other dogs trying to play/get excitable with her and will let them know this is the strongest terms, though if they go and do their own thing she's quite happy to live and let live (my sister's puppy now 'gets it'). Not sure how Tilley would feel about sharing with such a grouch! (Cam is still brilliant with hoomans and very small hoomans as long as they don't scream or tread on her, which understandably she doesn't love). She still loves plodding walks over new terrain.

We'd also have to get to Colne or Skipton on ze train and perhaps cadge a lift from there with someone who didn't mind a Cam in their car (she fits in a passenger footwell, she's smaller than she looks).

(There's a lot about the dog here. Sorrynotsorry. I bloody love that awkward old dog!)

So....quite a few obstacles I feel. Which is a massive shame because it looks really beautiful round there having had a nosy. And obviously we would love to celebrate with you.

And is this one heated?

Bother. I think the problem with having Cam there is that Tilley would get really stressed out and be hard work. She's been a bit of a diva ever since we fostered all those rescue dogs and she's finally put her paw down. Sorry Laura as we'd love to see you, but I don't know how we could make it work.  :-\ We'll just have to come down to London more often!

We would love to come, if there is still space (2 adults & 1 bairn).
Getting there...

Either in the 4 or 6 room if possible - for toddler containment purposes. He will sleep in my bed so doesn't need a bed though.  :)

Me too (congratulamications by the way)! I'll sleep in the same room as Clare (unless she opts for the non-snoring room). There's a risk that I may be fettling a freshly-launched satellite in January, but hopefully I should be able to work around that.

I'm not sure I'll be allowed in any quiet room,  I'm assuming there'll be spaces somewhere.

Ooh this is taking off now! Welcome, clariflies and Vernon!

Heard overnight that Phil Malcolm (formerly of C+ and acf) and his wife Jen will be coming to this do all the way from Belgium! They'd like to bags beds in the 4-person room.

People who have stayed there before, are there bunks in every room apart from the 2-ers? Just trying to work out who can climb on top and who would like to stay underneath. As it were.

I think the 3 is a set of bunks and a single, which Marj and I were in last time.

I think the 3 bed room was the only one with a non bunk? I may be wrong.
