Cheap sheds.
« on: 12 July, 2010, 11:38:10 am »
I have the go ahead to put a shed in a narrow gap between us and the neighbours.

No problem with ventilation underneath, access will only be from the end. 4' wide maximum.

Anyone got any good shed suppliers? (I could make one but that seems like a load of faffage for not a lot of return)
It is simpler than it looks.

My partner bought one of these http://www.wickes.co.uk/Premium-Overlap-Shed/invt/218155 from Wickes a fortnight ago.
He spent much of yesterday and most of today assembling it. Some of the wood has warped, adding to construction challenge.
He wishes he had read the online reviews before starting with it.
The materials are 'budget' quality and the shed is a tad flimsy but it's only £129.99.
You will need a calm temperament and quite a few tools; I'll let you know if/when I next see my partner...

Go and see Dennis Brown.

His small sheds aren't too pricey

Don't buy a shed from a DIY shed.

Complete tommy tank made from modeling balsa wood. You should not as a rule be able to knock a shed down with just your fists of fury and a kung-fu grip.

He's got a website?

Blimey!

That's not bad for a man who has mice living in his hair

Not to be confused with Arthur Brown.

Who will just burn your shed down.

Or Gordon Brown, who will girn at you whilst picking your pocket.

The shed is now complete.
Many materials were poor quality/flimsy/unsuitable.
The good news is that despite his frustration with the shed, he's not murdered me...
... yet.

Could you use a garden shed? The possible uses for garden sheds are varied. You want a garden shed that's reasonable. You want a garden shed company with lots of sheds. Get an excellent garden shed in Stroud.
